Newsletter December 2018

Absolute highlight during our trip to Nagpur in October was the reunion for old-students. We were very happy that about 70 old-students came.
We are proud to see how they have grown into beautiful young adults. Most of them did junior college and a few even college. Others did a course and have nice jobs now. Some of the girls are married and have children.
And that is why we started this project. To create new chances through education. Chances to learn to read and write and grow into the persons they are now. Some of them were with us for only a short time but most of them were with us for many years.
We loved to see the change they have gone through and hope they have the same good memories on their time at Nav Jeevan as we have.

Finally, all in one picture again.

At the moment we have 420 children at the school of which 220 are in the hostel. When we started in 2003 we never thought we should grow so much. The costs have therefore risen sharply. That’s why we ask all donors to recruit a family member, friend or colleague as a new donor.

In the first week of January you can find the complete financial statement 2018 on our website.

On behalf of the 420 children and the staff of Nav Jeevan we wish you all a happy and healthy 2019 and thank you for your support.

Sincerely,
